Government encourage Singaporeans to grow their own edible vegetables at home, and is part of the larger “30 by 30” national strategy to have 30 per cent of Singapore’s food produced locally by 2030.
The National Parks Board (NParks) will be giving interested households in Singapore seed packets as part of their Gardening with Edibles initiative.
You can register for a seed pack here by Jun 30, while stocks last. The packs are expected to be mailed out by Aug 1, and will contain seeds for one type of leafy vegetable and one type of fruited vegetable.
